A coworker of mine<\/a> sent me an email with a delicious idea. Meat turtles! \u00c2\u00a0I threw together the simple\u00c2\u00a0ingredients\u00c2\u00a0and decided to surprise my wife with a prepared dinner she could just throw into the oven the next day. \u00c2\u00a0Ground Beef, Bacon, Cheese, and hotdogs. \u00c2\u00a0The basic staples of life. \u00c2\u00a0Make a large beef paddy, throw some cheese on it, and then wrap it in a bacon weave. \u00c2\u00a0Add hotdogs for legs\/head\/tail. \u00c2\u00a0If you slice the end of the “leg” dogs with three cuts you’ll get nice looking toes for the feet. \u00c2\u00a0I cut the dogs in half before inserting them but there’s no reason you couldn’t use whole ones depending on how big you want your turtles. \u00c2\u00a0Loosely cover with foil and bake 20-30 mins at 400. \u00c2\u00a0Eat!<\/p>\n

Afterwards I had some leftover meat and didn’t really want to make another turtle so I decided to get creative and made a snail. \u00c2\u00a0While certainly harder to cook I think it came out nicely. \u00c2\u00a0It’s held on by two toothpicks. \u00c2\u00a0Overall pretty delicious. \u00c2\u00a0Would probably take a lot better if I had a grill \ud83d\ude41 \u00c2\u00a0The last pic is the best where my wife suggested adding\u00c2\u00a0antennae! \u00c2\u00a0She’s so smart.<\/p>\n
